A note from the Author about food choices.

Please note: While the nutrition is partly focused on vegetarians, the word OR concept of vegan is NEVER mentioned in the text of this book, and the word vegetarian only comes up as a reference to the food guide.  Free range eggs are mentioned once as a source of B12 and Omega 3.  Dairy is not mentioned pro or against.  I’ve done my best to accommodate as many families as possible with their different dietary cultures so this book is perfectly acceptable for non-vegetarians.  The only meat mentioned in any kind of negative context is unclean meat and once under cholesterol/fat.  The recipes are vegetarian/vegan because then any child can use them, regardless of their family’s diet.
